Give me tips!!

I am thinking of taking in two ducklings at the beginning of may, and I have done much research. I have never raised any type of bird before but I feel I am prepared from my research. I now know ducks are very social animals and need a companion, and I am very excited to take two in. I have a fairly large yard with a pond and grassy areas for the ducks to play. My neighbors also are experienced in raising chickens and ducks, so I think I will be good to go. However I would like to get the most information and advice as possible, so that I can give these ducklings the best life as possible. I am deciding between two pekin or two rouen ducks, so any tips would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Save yourself some headache and dont get pekins.

Also i would get 3 over 2 to avoid the issue of one dieing and now what to do with lone duck. I probably would not get drakes.

Perkins were bred to be meat birds (grow fast) so leg and joint issues are somewhat common.
