Giving back to my hens

Any problems with regularly feeding eggs back to my flock?

I am so buried in eggs right now it's ridiculous. Baked 60 eggs this morning plan on crushing them and feeding them back to the flock.

Put 60 brown eggs in carton in the fridge still have 65 white eggs in the three tier wire basket.
Getting between 19 and 25 eggs a day and can't find people to give them away to....LOL
Damn chicken math!

I give mine some but rarely do I have so many extras. I would treat them as any other treat and not over do it.

Check with churches in your area too. They may be able to help with using some in their food banks or have needy members.

I feed them eggs when they're going through the molt,and I've been giving these pullets approaching laying age eggs I figured they could use the extra umph but it's not good on a regular basis. I agree about the food banks they are happy to get donations, especially with so many people being hungry. I watch this guy on YouTube that donates duck eggs, 50 ducks in a hot tub. Man has like 1000 ducks, so he's slowly loseing his mind but his hearts in the right place.

Churches, food pantries or homeless shelters will sometimes take donated eggs. With the goings on after Harvey, I'd think someone would take them.
