A neighbor who passed away a few years ago apparently used to shoot any wild turkeys he saw on his land. I've lived here 11 years and never saw a wild turkey until this year. Have a flock of them that come into my yard to eat every day. They also fight with my turkeys through the fence. Not sure whether to encourage the wild turkeys as I really enjoy watching them, or discourage them because they might share diseases with my birds.
