Giving Electrolyes for cold weather?

I'm just wondering if there's any benefits to giving their chickens Electrolytes in the water when it's cold outside.

I normally just do electrolytes in the warm/hot months or if someone is sick. Chickens struggle more with stress and hot weather than the cold.

All they need is good food free choice and plain water. There's seldom a real need for a separate waterer with added electrolytes, and certainly not in cold weather!
Having the wind blocked, and a roof overhead matters, along with good upper ventilation.

I made a gallon of Durvet Electrolytes like a few days ago when it was like 96°F and now all of a sudden its like 47°F and have it left over in my fridge.
Lol I just want to use it up
