giving gatorade to chicks

i have a couple of chicks not doing to good from the trip. is it ok to give them some deluted gatorade? i think im going to have to cull one but the other two i think will be ok i just have to give them something to give them more energy.

also if so how much and how often should i give it to them. i dont want to drown them.

Instead of gatorade, give them Vitasol (sp) or some other electrolyte for livestock. That is much better than gatorade.

Try Poutry Drench. Great product for stressed birds and for stress times of the year. TSC carries it. It can be use full strength or diluted.

Gatorade is too high in sugar and sodium for poultry. Mix milk, sugar, and electrolyes and give them that.
