Hello everyone!
Yesterday, I found out that all 3 of my chickens had bumblefoot. had to give them surgery and now their poor little feet are all wrapped up in gauze.
I had read that eating fruits and veggies can help fight infections (like bumblefoot) because of the antioxidants and vitamins. But my chickens don't like to eat fruits and veggies. So, I decided, why not put it in scrambled eggs? God knows we have too many eggs.
So that's what I did. I made a gross mixture of eggs, blueberries, cantelope, leuttice, grass, grapes, and sunflower seeds, and cooked it up on the stove. What I ended up with was a disgusting, green pile of scrambled eggs with all those lovely ingredients.
It was gross to look at, but actually smelled almost like a pancake. And let me tell you, the chickens loved it! They ate it all up, every little bit!
Do anyone else's chickens like eggs? And does anyone know if eggs are good for them?
