Giving thanks...for PIE

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! These are the 2 pies I made to take to my brother's house. One apple, one pumpkin. I don't have to cook the rest of the meal this year--Yeah!

I am waiting for my monkey bread to rise. I just got done with my pies. 2 pumpkin, 1 apple, 1 cherry, 1 lemon meringue, and 1 key lime. And a batch of no bake cookies yesterday. Phew. I'm so glad I don't have to do this again till Christmas. I love eating my hard work but it is such a load. I do it to myself because I offer to bake. Hardly any one brings the desserts anymore. When I baked for one of the holidays last year my DH's side of the family didn't know I could bake. Now the take complete advantage of it. Oh well, I LOVE pie
