this is one of my GLW hens at 6 weeks. I was worried she was a cockrell because she (& her sister) was so reddened. Both of them were very skittish until they started laying.
I still think you have a pullet. Fingers crossed.

I still think she is a pullet. The color pattern just doesn't look cockrellish. (Not a real word I know )

This is what I'm thinking. The lacing is very, very even with no hint of a wing patch forming nor the "black collar" the males get. The comb may have some color to it but it isn't changing very quickly either.

Ooooh! Super excited if she is a pullet! The feathers are gorgeous and I would love to be able to keep her. I really hope she settles down a little too as she is legit terrified of me.

Pullet. A male would have muddy coloring across the shoulders, not clear lacing.

Well as I read through I would've been surprised to hear otherwise. Lacing was way too good across the chest for a cockerel
