(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
New to chickens but grandparents had chickens when I was younger. Got my first chickens in April 2023.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 9 chickens.
(3) What breeds do you have?
2-Barred Plymouth Rock, 2-Rhode Island Reds, 1-Golden Comet, 4-Jersey Giants
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They are so friendly and makes my day fussing with them and in the end I get eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Travel, gardening, computers, and chickens now!!!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Small family of 3 or you can say 4 as we have a chocolate Lab that thinks he is a person and he's spoiled.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found it recently when doing a search for information and after visiting a few times I decided to join.
