"Glassed fertile eggs" could they hatch?

I've been watching about preserving eggs and a thought came to mind...wonder if the eggs just might hatch if they were fertile...since they are not refrigerated....what if????

I could be wrong, but wouldn’t them being in water drown them making it impossible for them to develop? Temperature is something to consider too, but I think being submerged would kill it.
