Gloucester Old Spot hogs? Anyone raise them?

I have posted this on BYH also; but this site is faster!

So, does anyone raise GOS pigs? I really like their looks, and would like to get a sow and barrow to start a small piggery. We have a lot of overgrown area that they could help clear out too.

I read that they crossbreed well for meat production- what breed do they cross them with?

Anyone like to discuss GOS or any breed of hog?

I breed old spots. My stock is registered. I thought about trying to find a cheap berkshire gilt for crossbred pork, but from what I hear they root a lot more than GOS. I'll just add a few more GOS to my herd.
