Awesome! Do you plan on keeping them? Did you post a thread about them elsewhere? Can you post some pics?I stoped rping suddenly, earlier today because our neighbors called, explaining that there were chickens in their yard! I went over and found two stray, beautiful gold laced wyandotte hens!
You see... this is the problem. They are still wild, hanging out in my neighbor's unfenced in yard. I did post a thread about them, for advice. (I'm not sure how to post links, so I can just tag you if you want) I was going to try getting pictures today, but going on to my neighbor's property and taking pictures is kind of weird.Awesome! Just go ask them for them. Say that they are your chickens that escaped. Problem solved, maybe. You see... this is the problem. They are still wild, hanging out in my neighbor's unfenced in yard. Good idea, but I wouldn't lie to them about it. Didn't your neighbors tell u about them in the first place? Surely they'd want you to take them from their yard and give them a home with you.Just go ask them for them. Say that they are your chickens that escaped. Problem solved, maybe.
They already know they're not ours.Just go ask them for them. Say that they are your chickens that escaped. Problem solved, maybe.
The problem is, the rest of my family, who aren't as eager to grab them.I saw the neighbors yesterday, they said exactly that! Lol! "Oh, you gunna take the chickens? Please do! They've been hanging out here for almost a week!"
Why not? Free chickens! If they had a disease your flock would’ve caught it already. The problem is, the rest of my family, who aren't as eager to grab them.
