Stevie's right. A cory cat is a little fish that lives on the bottom of the tank. Apparently not real common for them to breed. Found the whole side of my tank covered in their eggs today.
I'm very careful about reaching into my nests after I saw a black snake by the coop one day. VERY CAREFUL. I'm not afraid of snakes but I like to know they're there before I grab one.

Did the snake have a white underbelly? I found a dead one in the road and thought it was someones pet. I am used to copperheads and garters.

It was a black snake. Yes, white belly. Pretty common around here. I don't believe in outright killing them. I am however going to be adding egg gourds to my nest and if he eats them, oh well.
