Our 1 year old Buff Orpington hen, Nellie, has began to lay us eggs everyday for the past week! I am one proud mama! We used to let them out at around 10 in the morning, and to bed at 4ish... I soon found out they weren't laying because they weren't getting enough sun. I now let them out at 7:30 AM, and to bed at 5 PM.... and everyday we have gotten this! (Gloria and Penny aren't laying because they are older girls, but Lucy should start laying in a few months, she is 4 months now.)
