as some or you may know from reading, back in january we experimented with three eggs, hatching all three, they are now getting very big and strong. In february we put 14 more in the incubator, 13 of them hatched this week, one didnt make it(heart breaker), but i am so excited(for the other 13). They are all sooo cute, and i never thought that we would have that good of a turn out on our eggs( of course every time i look outside, rooster is getin busy). I am so excited!!!!!! i love this, i am so glad that we go chickens!!!! we are going to start filling it every month now!

don't let your eggs get over 7 days old before you set them. also turn them once a day before you set them. cornishman.

Isn't hatching wonderful??? I would love to set eggs every month, I've even been offered the use of a Sportsman! But even if I could come up with all those eggs to set, what would I do with hundreds of chicks?

oh yes, hatching is very wonderful, i can only imagine how you guys with children feel. when i watched our first one( actually the second born) come out of the egg, is was so beutiful, it is just soooo amazing!! And also, that is what i said to my bf, and he said he would start selling them! we'll see though, i just don't know if i could part with the little cuties!!!
