Welcome to the sheep and goat thread!
As an introduction you can say what breed of goat/sheep you have/gonna get/dream about getting.
I'm not sure if anyone is even gonna respond to this but its worth a shot

Im "My spoiled chickens"(RN Saoirse) I have one wool sheep and two Nigerian dwarf goats(NDG)

I've had 5 Nubian goats and a total of 11 sheep, but all have since died except one - my Katahdin named Muffin. She is 16 years old now and lives with my chickens. She is missing some teeth and cannot eat regular hay now so she gets moistened hay cubes and pellets. She still tries to munch on grass but I don't know how much of that she can actually eat.

I recommend Katahdins to anyone looking to get sheep. They are friendly, very parasite-resistant, and don't require shearing. Mine hardly had any health problems and they love petting.

Goats, on the other hand, I recommend most people steer clear of!

My goats are sweethearts a big herd of goats is hard to handle tho.
Muffin is so cute!

I used to have Black Welsh Mountain sheep. They are easy to take care of and quite independent. I would don't recommend the rams. They are very aggressive.

I did "allow' my Corriedale ram to breed with the BWM ewes and they produced coal black lambs with beautiful fleece.
We have a black wool sheep but her coat has gotten so sun bleached that she looks more brown

Here is what Muffin looks like after she sheds most of her winter coat. Quite a big difference!
