How big are mini cows? Honestly I hadn’t really thought about minis. I just thought a Jersey was too big so I went to goats. (I’d love a Jersey though, just way too much milk)

I know nothing about cows or cow breeds but we've always leaned towards small/miniature breeds of most things. We had Dexter cattle when I was growing up, they're on the smaller side.

What type of goats do you have? I'm looking at Nigerian Dwarf and everyone says the milk is better than cows milk.

Thanks! I can look into them! I just want a milk source that won’t cost a fortune to feed and doesn’t give me 4-7 gallons of milk a day it’s just me and the occasional milk for the chickens so I don’t want that much. I’ll stress myself out so much trying to get rid of it

I forgot about this thread!! I got 2 Nigerian Dwarf goats a few weeks ago. Does. I didn't know until AFTER I picked them up that there was a high possibility one or both are pregnant. They've both been mothers before and I'm pretty sure Daisy is pregnant. I wasn't planning on milking just yet but when life gives you lemonade....right?

They're both very funny and sweet! I love them.
