Goat issue

How is your goat today?
I was rushing through chores today, so I didn’t watch her a ton, but I did see that her sister Ruby was coughing quite a bit, but then she stopped. They were both eating, and they have been eating and drinking and going to the bathroom normally. I’m still pretty concerned though, since Delilah’s temp was low when I was able to take it (with help from others) two days ago. And since she was acting funky. Delilah and Ruby have always been a bit shivery when we let them outside on cold days, but I’ve heard it’s just a part of adapting, and I also know putting blankets/jackets on them can mess up their thick coats and make it so they aren’t as hardy without them. I left them inside the barn today, since it’s 29°f and breezy and there was a bit of sleet.

I've had a few showing similar symptoms the past few days and 1 die, I'm at a loss as well and pretty concerned for my little flock. I hope things start looking up for you
Oh geez! Did your goat show any specific symptoms before they died? I’m so so sorry! I might have a vet out…

Coughing can be from pneumonia, but generally you see other symptoms. Coughing can also be from lung worms. You may want to get them checked out by a vet to be on the safe side.
