goat knees with bare patches.

all of my goats have these bare patches on their knees..i guess its from laying in their pen at night? is it normal? they are adorable as anything but i would hate to not know if something was amiss.
also, do all goats tap you on the leg or shoulder when they want attention?? its so cute!!!

I assume it's normal since all mine have that.

Completely normal. They are born with haired knees, but they quickly develope the bald spots.

As for the "tapping" my goats will paw at me when I have something they want and aren't getting.

The patches are normal...more like a callous. Goats will spend a good bit of time eating while on their knees

forgot the tapping thing...sure why not...just don't ask what Mo did for attention...he was wrong...cute but wrong
