Today is day 145 for my pygmies. One of them had a drop of blood on her vulva on Friday. Yesterday was a small smear of blood on the side of her vulva. Nothing at all since then.

Do you think it's gonna be anytime soon? I tried to get a pic but this is the best I could do. The spot around the 5 o'clock area is dried and dark, the redder one is the smear to the left. She's been holding her tail straight out, that is until I want to check her or take a pic. [IMG]
She's eating, drinking, acting all around normal.

This is only my 2nd time having goat babies. Oh and I was able to pull the straw out. And her sack is full, has been for 3-4 weeks.

If so she isnt very big as mine get huge ...Check to see if her udder is filling and also che3ck the ligaments. That is a sure sign they are getting close...

You need to lift the tail for the pooch shot...they can have that discharge for 6 weeks before they kid (I doubt it's blood).

Shave the udder so you can see changes in it prior to kidding...

Well, it was a false alarm. Yes, it's definately blood, however she has a small cut on the upper left of her vulva.

And yes, she is definately pregnant. You can't tell from the pic but she is huge, her belly almost drags the ground.

Thanks anyway. I guess I'll just keep waiting. [IMG]

ETA: No way she'll let me shave her, not a very tame girl. Only comes in for closeness if I have animal crackers or teddy grahams.
