Goat owners show me what you got!

I can't argue they can be high maintenance. Especially when it comes to health issues. When I bread my two girls I got worst case scenario and best case scenario all in one Week. But the personalities can't be beat. I can't slaughter any of my animals. I don't Find it wrong or anything and sometimes I wish I could raise animals for me but I just can't do it.

Goats loved their mineral block for xmas. And the carrot filled stockings. My daughter says we're the only goat owners that have stockings for them. I told her they appreciate it more than some teenagers appreciate theirs. Lol. It's just my daughter and I but we have 14 stockings. ( chickens have to share 1). I'm a nerd but they're ok with it.

Not everyone has monogram stockings for their goats?!

It seems like when a goat gets sick.... it gets SICK!!! I have spent my fair share in vet bills but I overtime have learned how to give shots and even had given my goat an IV and give them medication and have a fully stocked first aid kit for them that's bigger than my personal first aid kit at all times
Former goat owner. I don't ever want them again because they are so dear and so high maintenance. These were two of the dearest creatures I've ever raised.

I originally got them to help me clear some land and start raising meat goats, but once I realized how much they trusted me, I said, "No way" to slaughtering them. These guys followed me every step of the way when I cleared over 25 acres of overgrowth.

The guy on the left cost me over $1000 due to health issues (ended in heartbreak). The girl on the right went to live with a friend after his death, had sex with a Boer stud and gave birth to a gorgeous pinto girl.

Miss you guys...
