I also love that look Pie is giving me! He's such a Ham,
Here is another pic of him from when he was younger, He'll get his chance to be a dad probably this fall, I plan to breed him to Dixie and Willow when the time comes!

Pinto is adorable! I love sables! Grim doesn't really have a role in life, I have been considering training him to pull a wagon and help me with haying, but haven't really done anything yet, he's not as friendly as my other wethers, but he's super food motivated!
I even have a harness for him,

Onyx and Riply are also wethers, they're both bottle babies, so naturally very friendly. They've gone hiking with me, and Riply even swims, but none of my wethers really have jobs other then pets.

Dallas does have blue eyes, I'm hoping he and Jade will bless me with blue eyed girls! Kid watch really wears you out, but it's so worth it when they finally get here!

Your goats are just gorgeous! How many breeds do you have?

We don't have acreage yet, so no goats at home. However, my youngest daughter has a Boer doe named Cosby at the school farm. Cosby is due to kid for the first time in March.

All the goats at the school are sweet, but one in particular, is a real love. Her name is Wasabi and she's as round as a ball. Not sure how many babies are in there, but it looks like she's ready to pop!

Can't wait for goat babies!

I have 5 breeds. The bigger goats are more pets then anything, I breed the minis.

I have 2 boers, Nellie and Star.
1 LaMancha, Grim.
2 Nubians, Onyx and Riply.
3 Alpines, April, Grace, and Glory.

And 8 Nigerian Dwarfs.
The girls Swiss, Chaney, Jade, Dixie, and Willow.
The boys Dallas, Pie, and Mighty.

I actually need to cut down on some of the bigger goats. I'd like to find a new home for both Grace and Glory. I'll probably keep the rest, I get way to attached! Onyx, Riply, April, and Star are my bottle babies, so naturally very special. Nellie is just to old to have to get use to a new home, and Grim is a wether, so not worth to much and I wouldn't risk him ending up as someone's dinner.

I just got turned on to this site from the Goatworld site because we started a thread over there about goats and chickens (I'm getting some chickens this Spring!) how do I post pics on here? I can post a couple pics of new babies that were just born this week.
I am learning a lot here! I really like the site, plus it is so busy!

I am located in Arkansas, probably way to far away! Both are very friendly (I know Grace was bottle fed, I think Glory was to), but they have never kidded, so can't say on how well they milk. I actually planned to sell them in milk, but haven't gotten things going as quickly as I wanted to, they've been exposed to my nigi buck (for 1st generation mini alpines), but no idea yet if they're bred.

catdance62, I used photobucket to post my pics, you upload them, then copy and paste.
