Last night, I couldn't find the tendons above the tail. It was the same this morning. I felt around a ton trying to find them. This afternoon, I could feel the tendons again, plain as day.

What's going on? Am I just bad at this? :)

It's called 'doe code' because we goat owners like to joke that does will do anything to mess with us! lol
It's very common for the ligaments to disappear and reappear a few times when a doe is getting close to labor. Once they stay gone, she should kid within 24 hours.
You'll have to post pics when she does kid though please!

Lol, no not at all. It's very common for that to happen. Has she bagged up yet? Any discharge?

I have one older doe that loses her ligaments for about 3 weeks before she kids. Drives me bananas! She does it every year. You would think 5 years later I would just let it go, but no.. it's not possible =P

Thank you both! ...just, THANK YOU!

I will post pictures for sure! I want kids!!!!!

She started bagging up 3 to 4 weeks ago. No discharge yet.

Oh, and the fun thing is that we had NO IDEA she was pregnant when we bought her and didn't know she was until last Sunday!
