Okay I have two nigerian does that I'll be showing in an upcoming fair, and I need to get them prepped.
By trimming their hooves, dusting for lice, fleas, and mites, and deworming them.
I know I can get all the items I need to do these things with at the local feed store, but I want to know what was easier for you guys & healthier for your goats?

Shoot. I just used any louse powder from the feed store that was approved for dairy cattle. Trim the feet and you can neaten the coat up with scissors if you aren't going to clip them. Dairy goats, which I used to show, are usually clipped unless the weather was bad. Then we would trim the hair up on the tail and ears etc. Bathe the goat a day or two before the show.
