I have lots of ground elder in my yard...its getting our of hand -apparently its a noxious weed! who knew! NOT me, who transplanted it all about the yard last summer (dork!) Anywho - will geese (and even ducks) eat this stuff? I read up a lot about it and I guess many refer it as a veggie! It was originally brought to the british by the Romans as a vegetable....and there are hundreds of recipes for it - so 1, yum. 2 - I dont want to go feeding it to them if it could be harmful in anyway. granted - I hope not, if people eat it...AND 3 - THANKS MUCH !

Ground elder is really invasive in the yard. Geese can safely eat it - but mine won't. When I weed it it smells aromatic, and I'm guessing that's why the goose doesn't go for it. She's really picky about her food.
