It has taken me three days, but I have figured out that my goat has been breaking into my coop and cleaning up the feed. Most likely not more than say two cups or so, but I thought I had heard that it can hurt them-anybody know for sure? It's layer feed.

Mine once got into the coop..they had upset stomach the next day, but were fine after that. i've heard you can give them pepto bismol and it helps for upset stomachs.

Yes, chicken feed can hurt them if they over do it. I've had a pygmy get into about 3 cups of the chicken feed and she scoured for days.

It's best to move that chicken feed out of area for your goat and keep an eye on her. If she gets scours, you can give her a baking soda drench and also get some scour halt or something like that. I've heard of people using pepto, but I'm not really for it. It's got too many other things in it that goats just don't need so I'd rather give them something made for them.

Please move the chicken feed, I lost one goat, female, very lovable that got into the chicken feed, bloated and died.
