Goats and ticks

Hi, We seem to have ticks everywhere right now. I found some on my Nigerian Dwarfs and I am not sure what to use. One of the goats has been bred. Can I use poultry dust? I have some already, but wasn't sure if it would be safe for them. What are my options?

We used to use louse powder with malathion on the goats any time whether they were pregnant or not. I can't imagine the poultry dust would hurt.
