goats bloating

We are new to raising goats. Both of our boar goats (2 and 1 year old) have started to get very round abdomens in the past few days. I have read about goat bloat. Their abdomens seem evenly bloated not larger on one side than the other and they are still active and eating. Can anyone offer some advise.

Thankyou

Do you have pics?
Have you switched their food?
Could they be pregnant/are they does?
Do they have free choice baking soda out?
What are you feeding them?
When was the last time they were wormed and with what?
We need lots more info to be able to help you. Thanks

Hi Goat people. I'm caring for two boar goats this week, and one of them has gotten a sort of bloated look--like what you described as "bloated". The owner said I could call her breeder with questions or concerns while she is gone, so I did. He said as long as the goat feels good, is urinating and pooping normally, he should be fine. The goats had just gotten some new hay and the breeder said the fullness sometimes happens when their diet is changed. Thank you for talking about the minerals and baking soda. That makes sense. These guys are so much fun, now I want a couple of goats!
