Goats for sale near philadelphia?

hi i was wondering if anyone near phili or lancaster PA was selling any breed of goat

i dont know if i will be purchasing them yet i just want to see what is in the area.

I have been on a hunt for goats in PA starting in June. I live in chester county,pa and it took me quite a while to find some. I finally settled on nigerian dwarves for milking and possibly show. I'm not sure what you want goats for but I know some breeders who breed nigerians.

I got a buck and wether from www.apachedowns.com, they are in monroeville,nj

I also got a wether from someone else in southern NJ who may or may not have some nigerians for sale still and a doe from www.tinytowngoats.com that is in MD near Dover,DE.

From my experience Nigerians are really hard to find in this area of PA. Now if you're looking for another breed you will probably have to wait til spring. I started goat shopping this past spring and it's pretty easy to find some mixed goat kids or nubian goat kids around that time on craigslist or in the papers. I was originally looking for Nubian does in milk before i settled on Nigerians, so I never bought any of those other kids during spring.

I think they may have some goats for sale right now but their prices are a little high just for cross breeds. You could get a purebred show quality goat of any other kind for their prices on mixed breeds.
