Goats goats goats!!!

Well Goats do not need all that much in the winter just fresh hay water and grain (I give mine a tad bit more in the winter) as long as they have something to get out of the rain, sleet, and snow, they are fine after all the are full of hair lol so stuf like heat lamps are not needed

hearthnsoul, I am cracking up because I started mentioning goats while my husband was still working on the coop and he went pale. Now whenever the "G word" comes up he conveniently wanders out of the room. We have a farm that breeds nigerians not too far from here and it seems a field trip may be in order. I like the idea of a bare floor structure and something located near the coop.

Sillystunt, your pages are some of my favorites! The similarities between us are quite uncanny. We have the same first name (not Silly, your real one). I have three human kids also, and back in the day I was often found tearing up the town in a VW bus (mainly to Dead shows).
Now if I can just get those goats....

So funny, I was peeking at the goat threads on here and someone had a pic of their donkey with a goat. He walked behind me and said don't even think of it! LOL

Anyhow,..I might as well join the group and become an enabler..Field trip, what are you waiting for :) turn that wanderer into a hammerer!

would you mind sharing some photos of your setup? I would love to see what you have going on for the goats and chicks :) I am a pictureaholic. It's terrible how excited I get..
