(She was attacked by a traitor turkey and was spured in the back leaving an open wound
 
(Ya I am pretty sure all except the traitor, Jeffery)
(We haven't heard from the chickens for a while)
 
Sarah's throat began to dry she wobbled toward a creek and drank a few sips then would fill her mouth with water and clean out the wound
(She is farther away from the nest out of sight)

Jeffrey sat on a branch above Sarah watching her drink"I am surprised she isn't dead yet." He said to himself. He jumped off the branch behind Sarah.

Sarah heard him land and stood up without looking at him then she turned around and jumped at him spurring him in the face. Her spurr went through his eye into his socket. He screeched with terror.
