I never read or watch Stephen King books/movies (except did read The Stand twice) however, in Pet Cemetary didn't a pet dog/cat come back but then attack family? Better keep an eye on that rooster.
Now you know I'm just kidding don't you? I too have a strong faith (and a sense of humor) and believe and KNOW that God grants ernest heartfelt prayers.
Ruth survived when my husband had pronounced her dead or as Monty Python would say "mostly dead". Morris, the cat survived being run over and having his spinal cord severed and is alive and well when the vet said less than 5% chance. And Simba, our kitten, who was found deaf and with feral palsy could not walk, stand, could only spin in circles - is also alive and well. All because God granted prayers. I laid hands on each of them and prayed for their survival and health and God granted my prayers. I also pray protection over my chickens and thus far they have free ranged from one-day olds and predators and hawks/eagles galor but they too are alive and well. He is an awesome God and so few people have a direct communication and relationship with Him. He is there waiting for us if we would only ASK.
