Going away

I'm going away for the weekend. And I have day old quail. I forgot to give the sitter feed for them. What can she feed them? She does'nt keep birds of any kind.

Can you have her run to the feed store and buy a bad of chick feed? You can have feed them oatmeal, cornbread mix or thawed corn if they'll eat it.

They need game bird starter.
Regular chick feed is not good enough, nor is corn bread or canned corn. you will kill them.

There is not a feed store near her. She lives a ways from me. There has to be something around the house she can feed them.

hard boiled eggs, mashed up really small. Should be ok for a couple of days
