going broody????

I have a aprox 13 week old RIR that for the last 24 hrs just wants to huddle down like I would imagine ( first timer) she would to lay an egg. She will eat and drink when I put food by her but wont get up to get it. when I tried to move her by sliding my hand under her she just clucked and stayed there. Might she be going broody or should I look for something else? The other 12 are acting normal.

13 weeks is pretty early. But it sounds like sitting hen behavior. Has she started laying yet?

no eggs yet. what is sitting hen? seems all i do anymore is read about chickens lol
