These gals are growing so fast, it's hard to believe they are only 2 wks old now...and HOLY COW the POOP! The little cuties are so frisky now we HAVE to give them time in the bath daily to swim and ZOOM (as my kids like to say), they start crying for us anytime they see us (begging for treats), peck at string, my wedding ring, anything shiny or new or ANYTHING...lol they are too much. We've got ourselves one little piggy ducky who tries to hog all the treats and butter us up with her sweet peeps. She (Luna) actually climbed onto my 8 yr old dd's lap for a treat...my dd LOVED it.

Anyway, other than all the poo...the cuties are growing too fast, and showing more personality every day. I have to ask you all...

What other CRAZY things do we have to look forward to (or be wary of)? LOL!

Duck holes in the yard wherever they can find water to make mud. They drill into the mud with their bills.

And if they have a pond, they will ZOOM around in it, just like they do as ducklings. And I mean ZOOM! Thelma can get going so fast in the small kiddie pool she will force Louie right up out of it! It's only 8 inches deep or so. She goes under the surface of the water and the wake will splash Louie, floating quietly on the surface, right up out of the pool.

My ducks are at the age where it's nonstop flirting (head bobbing) and inept duckie porn. =P Hoping for eggs soon - my Golden 300s are starting to get egg butts! Still no development in the WHs; I won't hold it against them since the crew only just hit 6 months of age.
