As Worldling states 45-50% humidity during incubation and the sky's the limit during lock down--- especially in a forced air bator. Forced air incubators have a tendancy to "shrink wrap" slow hatching chicks, thus the more ambient moisture you can keep in there during hatching time the better the wee lil ladds will fare!
Gamebird eggs are severely susceptible to low humidity--- dry incubating them will produce very unfavorable results.
Personally I leave all plugs out of my incubators at all times--- if you cannot reach high humidity during lockdown use a wet sponge or female napkin to increase water vapor surface area and raise humidity that way. the plugs will or can restrict air flow and decrease ambient oxygen within the 'bator.
Lockdown temp is the same as incubation or some folks drop it by 1/2 to 1 degree, personally i havent noticed and difference either way. Also when you go into lockdown place the eggs in some sort of holder in the upright possition--- this will yeild a higher hatch rate for you.
If using a little giant model of any kind keep a close eye on the water storage area as these models have a much lower capacity than hovabator models and dry out quickly, sending your humidity into a tailspin and raising the temp inside at the same time.
