I’m going to put my bantam eggs into lockdown tomorrow, day 18. I’m debating wether to put the into cut down egg cups, or just lay them on their side. Their air cells all look fine some are larger than the other and then I have a very porey egg. Just thought I would see what you guys think is best before the actual lockdown.

I've always put the eggs down on their sides. They will maybe have trouble hatching in those egg cups you mention. If the eggs are on the sides they will be freer to move around.

I have never put eggs in a cup i always put them on the side. But i think they should hatch well either way. I have hatched many porey eggs too. Btw good luck with the hatch. I hope it goes well!😊👍🏻

Thank you, based off what you guys said I will place them on their sides.
