Going on a trip - will this be enough space for my quail for a week?

hello all! I am going on a trip and need to bring my quail to another persons house for them to care for while I’m gone. I will be gone 7 days at the most - will this rabbit cage be sorry enough for them over the course of the 7 days? They will be indoors, so it doesn’t need to be predator proof - I’m more concerned about space. The 6 are pictured in the cage to give a reference for room.

They should be okay for a week. Maybe add something they can hide in so they can get out of each others’ way/eyeline if needed. Even just hanging a piece of cloth across part would work.

If you have anything bigger it would be better. A large cardboard box would work for a week (just cover the top so they don’t fly out). But since it’s for just a short time I’m sure they’ll be fine in the cage if you can’t find anything else. I certainly wouldn’t buy anything bigger, unless you plan on leaving a lot. Then it would be a good investment.
