Going outside just for a while?

My two ducklings are 3.5 weeks old (a month on Monday). They're definitely getting big for their brooder, and I was hoping to start being able to let them go outside for short stints soon. We have a fully enclosed run and the two big ducks go in the yard during the day, so I was thinking of letting them hang out in the run so they'd have room to run and pick at the straw, but also be enclosed and safe. It's looking like it will be between 50 - 60 degrees over the next few days. Do you think that's too cold for them to go out for a half hour or so?

I let my babes out for a little while at a time around that age, they should be okay! Just watch them for signs of being cold

That sounds Ok, just watch for any signs that they may be cold like huddling together, decreased movement, shivering or overall discomfort, they'll tell you if they are cold.

Thanks for the input! Tomorrow is going to be ghastly (30s and snowing UGH) but back up to 60 on Sunday so we'll see how it goes. New England weather!
