so I have a Muscovy setting on about 20+ eggs right now and will not hatch for about 2 weeks but I was wondering if it is ok for the ducklings to stay outside with mom or will I have to bring them inside to be raised. I do have dogs that have attacked our ducks before but they get penned up at night and snappers in the pond but have not had any ducks die due to the turtles.

If you have dogs and snappers I would:

Separate Momma and Ducklings in a pen that they can leave or anything can bother

Or Bring the ducklings inside. BUT that many ducklings is going to be a challenge to keep inside

Boy thats for sure. I would Not let small ducklings in a pond with snapping turtles. can you not build a small pen for mama and ducklings till they are large enough to take care of themselves better? And please keep your dogs away from your ducks if they are known to attack them. That is unless you really don't care if your lose some or not. I have 4 dogs 3 which are dachshunds with strong prey drives and have worked very hard to teach them that ducks /chickens ducklings and chicks are off limits. even with doing that i never let them just run havock with out some kind of supervision. I wish you the best. And
