I have around 25 pullets (probably more), and I am getting ZERO eggs now. Last week, it was 4. Even the ducks aren't laying. Though I'm pretty sure it's bc I havent found their new nest. Maybe.

Either way, my girls aren't laying. About 10 of them are 11 months old, a bunch are about 10 months old, and I have around 8 that are about 24 weeks old.

Anyone else going through egg strike?

If you are in the northern hemisphere than the decreasing daylight will cause laying to slow and eventually stop, especially for those due for a molt. Yours probably will molt this year. My roosters are currently molting, and I see some hens have started to lose feathers as well in the last two weeks.

Eggs really not on a schedule and hard to plan for, two weeks ago, I was run over with eggs, sent three dozen home with my son, a neighbor lady asked for some fertilized eggs - got 5 that day and gave to her, didn't collect eggs until late, and wound up with a broken egg.

Right now in my fridge, I am down to two eggs after using three eggs for breakfast. The day before yesterday we were back at 102... and feathers are looking ragged, ... the molt is coming.

I got 8.. then 6.. then 5.. and now I am only getting THREE daily.
The cold weather is starting to get colder and colder.. Reaching 70-80 degrees when just a few weeks ago the average was 90-100!

..Not complaining though.. That just means I can put on my puffy jacket again!

I got 1, it’s always 1 😭
My ducks are laying more eggs than my 20 plus pullets! I am sure the younger group is of laying age but no red combs etc. Everyone except maybe one or two girls are light red or pink.

I have 4 female ducks btw. I get 1 or 2 chicken eggs a day. Also lost 2 layers lately. Dolly (I'm still sad) and my olive egger was found dead yesterday. No wounds or anything so I am thinking heart attack. She was perfectly fine otherwise.
