Going to hatch some eggs... please help!!!

I like to make sure the incubator is on the 99-99.5 degree temp for a few hours to make sure it's working properly before putting eggs in

I had mine plugged in a day and a half before I expected to have my eggs to set to make sure the temps were going to regulate and stay steady ish. I firmly believe that while minor flunctuations aren't bad, it's better to know that it's staying in a general range. I never had mine spike unless I over adjusted it.

I forgot to mention, if it truely won't regulate well ( esp spiking too high, then dropping too low) it means you need a new wafer for the thermostat
