Welcome to BYC!! Beautiful birds!Hi, we recently gained A lot of chicks and from what I can gather maybe a mix of 7different breeds. At the moment it is a guessing game as we gained them at between 1-3wks old and even between chicks the down on them is going at different speeds.
From show breed hatchery so guessing all proper breeds. My first question is what breed of chick looks like the native myna birds. Easiest way to describe. ThanksView attachment 3498565

Im not familiar with local breeds, but you can come to a few conclusions based on their traits. Could be a blue Maran, Orpington or a lot of other blue breeds. potentially will lay a dark brown egg based on the ears - and it won't have a beard or tuffs - you'd most likely see those by now. The only common colored egg layer I am aware of with black legs is the blue ameraucana. But the comb doesn't match.Hi, we recently gained A lot of chicks and from what I can gather maybe a mix of 7different breeds.
