We love Christmas lights. Ours get put up around Thanksgiving and get go on at the very end of November, on my birthday actually.

I actually hadn't thought about putting them on the coops...But now we'll have to! Should be fun.

We ought to have a contest "who's got the best decorated coop", send in pics, have fun doing it. WHO'S GAME ?

You can get pastel eggs lights around easter, we use to have a set, ghost lights, and Flamingo lights. Dont think we have any of those left though, just plain colored lights for a couple of samll pinetrees out front.

Okay, I'm in for the Best Christmas Lit Coop contest. Not only will I have to figure out how to take a night photo, but will have to join the new millennium and figure out how to post pics! Good thing I have a few months!
