Going to start raising chickens in Arizonan my back yard

I live in az and just seeing if there is anyone else that is raising chickens in there back yard and to get helpful hints on what I will need to help them through the summer months thank u very much.

Hi im not in az but pahrump nv is pretty similar weather. . . I think the most important things are heat tolerant birds plenty of shade and abundant water. . .this will be my second summer with them and there doing great

Thank u all . My kids and I are excited to be getting chickens have a lot of animals already. But when I was younger had turkeys and chickens was fun to take care of them when I was a kid
