Wyandottes have a rose comb-not a pea comb.

Yes wyandottes do have Pea combs only. Some hatchery birds do have single combs but any good breeder would cull that right away. My Wyandotte pullets don't have that much comb or wattle growth even at POL but is wait until it crows to return it.

My barnevelders are double gold laced and the only difference between them and my gold laced wyandotte to look at are the combs or lack of in the case of the wyandotte.
Also my wyandotte is a plumper looking bird and more rounded in general appearence. If as you say they are brown not gold then all I can say is that my years of studying art must have been a waste of time as I obviously can not tell the difference between brown and gold if your correct!!!
