I have a gold laced wyandotte with a single comb. Does this disqualify her for good breeding stock ? I didn't think wyandottes are to have single combs, or do I stand to be wrong on that ? Thanks for any info !

Different breed have different charactistics that define them as a breed. One of the defining breed charactistics of the Wyandotte breed is the rose comb: therefore swhat you have is not a Wyandotte. It may be part Wyandotte but it would be disqualified in a show & it certainly should not be used for breeding if it is your desire to produce Wyandottes.
