I totally disagree with you.it is such nonsense to say “Birds that have never raised Chicks or had to share their space are extremely bossy”.pecking order can last up to week and it’s not aggressive.

Your Run is too small for that many Chickens....Also trying to add young birds that are still peeping usually does not work...Do you free range?...You could try free ranging them together to give them way more space as they get used to each other....

I’m just trying to figure out the math. If the run is 12x12 which is 144 sq ft, at 10 sq ft per bird doesn’t it fit 14 birds? The poster has 11. I think it’s more the age difference.

Lots of times younger girls won’t assert themselves until they are laying. Integration can be tricky. Can you separate them in the run for a few weeks with each group having their own food and water right next to each other along the shared divider?
