My girl has a cyst on her foot. She didn't have problems with standing and doesn't seem to have any problems with walking. But I watched her today and she holds her foot up I checked her feet today and it's about the size of a penny to nickle circular size and is tender to touch. How do I treat it?
I was thinking of using a needle to open it. I have epson salts to draw it out. But,having her stand in a bowl for about 20 minuits would seem difficult for both of us to do
I'm getting hydrogen peroxide. That might do better. I've been told 2 things. Poke it with a needle and let the stuff drain naturally. To me that would possibly have a chance to bring in more dirt and then seal up
Or poke it with a needle use hydrogen peroxide to draw the infection out and then put vasaline over the area to keep the dirt out. To me poke it use hydrogen peroxide draw the infection out. Then wrap it with gause and tape the gause. Would the chicken peck at the gause? Any suggestions would be of great help as this is my first time dealing with something like this
