Golden cuckoo marans - this is a boy right?

Here he is... I'm positive it's a boy, but wanted to ask anyway (first time with these guys). He has a big yellow spot on top of his head:

The smaller the spot, the more odds are pullet. But this one has a splash of yellow around the neck which isn't attached to the spot, but could indicate a boy.

According to pasofinofarm, males are light in color and females are dark in color, but both have the headspot.

I knew I had seen that somewhere, but I couldn't find it. Hmm... My chick isn't as dark as her pullets, but not as dark as the cockerel

I'm still thinking boy - I like to hatch them out the most for some reason

Actually i don't care if it's a boy or a girl, but I would like to know so I can plan ahead
